sleepydear is a small family project. We make bedtime stories the way we'd want them read to us — slowly, gently, and with a lot of care.

Editor & storyteller
Giulia writes and shapes every story, then reads it out loud before it's published, listening for anything that isn't gentle enough. She loves watercolor skies and warm tea — and knows how long a night can feel when sleep won't come.
Felipe
Builder & keeper of the calm
Felipe builds sleepydear — the site, the app, all the little details. He loves quiet mornings and endings where everyone falls asleep happy. He's usually the first one asleep.
Why sleepydear exists
Bedtime is the softest moment of the day — and often the most rushed. We wanted stories that slow the night down instead of winding it up: calm little tales that carry the values we hope to pass on.
We use AI as a writing tool, never as a replacement for care. Every story is shaped, edited and approved by us — two humans who read it the way you will: out loud, at the edge of a small bed.

A bedtime story lives in the voice. We read each one aloud, and anything that trips the tongue or rushes the rhythm gets rewritten.

No fear, no villains, no cliffhangers. Words stay simple, scenes stay soft, and the last page is always the slowest.
Carried into four languages
Each story is carefully adapted — not just translated — into English, Português, Español and Français, so it sounds like home in all of them.
